PROTEIN PARFAIT REMIX

PROTEIN PARFAIT
REMIX
Put my own spin on the usual "fruit parfait"

INGREDIENTS:
Non-Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 Banana
.5 Scoop BPi STRAWBERRY CAKE PROTEIN POWDER (for the win)
.5 VANILLA ALMOND CRUNCH QUEST BAR (for the win x2)

TOPPED WITH --
WALDEN FARMS Chocolate Sauce ( 0 CALORIE )
ShurFine Natural Peanut Butter

TOP SECRET TIPS:
-----------------------------------

1. Mixing Protein Powder with Yogurt is the next best thing, not kidding.
PLAIN yogurt + Flavored Protein saves you TONS AND TONS of sugar while giving you additional grams of protein!!
(don't believe me? go read the nutrition labels next time you're shopping!)

-----------------------------------

2. Take a quest bar, break it into pieces, place it on a non-stick baking sheet,
broil for 4-6 minutes.
TA-DA!!
HOMEMADE CEREAL/COOKIE CRISPS with only 1g Sugar :)

Zucchini Crust Pizza

Zucchini Lasagna last time,
 Zucchini crust today.
What can i say? I like my veggies!

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS, yayyy.
This season is really going to test my ability
to stick to my meal planning BUT being surrounded
by lots of supporters will make it much easier.

INCLUDING: my wonderful boyfriend.
We had a taste for pizza, and decided to try out a
zucchini crust (since we've made cauliflower crust before)

WHATCHA NEED:
3 zucchinis (shredded)
2 eggs
2C cheese
Seasonings

DIRECTIONS:
*Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-Shred Zucchini in a Food Processor
*Add in egg and cheese (we used mozz and cheddar jack)
- Shape onto baking tray (as thin as possible)
*Add desired toppings
-Bake 20 minutes (or until edges crisp)

HIS SIDE:
- Kale, Tilapia, Mushrooms, Extra Cheese

HER SIDE:
- Kale & Tilapia

TRIAL AND ERROR:
Our crust did not come out as crispy
as we would have liked SO, MY SUGGESTION IS:
* Use Tea-Cloth to drain extra water from
zucchini after shredding/before
adding egg & cheese*
